Download the Rotterdam City Card app on your phone and enter your code in the app to unlock your discounts.

Everything you need to know
Purchase
You can buy the Rotterdam City Card from your PC or on your mobile phone. Choose a 1, 2, or 3-day card, with or without unlimited public transport.
Download the app
Download the Rotterdam City Card app from the App Store or Google Play. Once you have completed your purchase, you will receive an e-mail with the link to your card (and your City Card code).
Activate
Easily activate your Rotterdam City Card in the app. Follow these simple steps:
- Click the link to transfer your card to the app, or enter your card code manually.
- When you're ready to use the discounts and public transport, activate your card in the app.
- Simply enter your name and email address to activate the card for immediate use.
Want to start using Public Transport later? No problem! You can activate your card anytime before your first ride. In any case, make sure to activate your card before your first public transport ride.
Discover discounts
With an active Rotterdam City Card, you unlock exclusive discounts at top attractions, museums, restaurants and tours. Book directly via the app in our partners’ webshops or redeem your discount on-site when purchasing tickets.
How to buy tickets
The Rotterdam City Card app links you directly to our partners' webshops, where you can purchase your discounted ticket. Your ticket will be sent by the partner and can be used immediately or at a later time.
- When accessing the partner's shop via the app, you will see the discounted Rotterdam City Card price and you can purchase your ticket.
- The discount code in your app is applied automatically at checkout, so you pay the reduced price.
- Alternatively, you can copy the partner's discount code from the app and enter it manually during the payment process.
On-site redemption
Show your Rotterdam City Card Discount QR code on your smartphone at the ticket office. Once employees verify its validity, you can purchase your discounted ticket on-site.
How to transfer a card
Have you purchased multiple Rotterdam City Cards and need to transfer one to another phone?
Follow these steps:
- Open your Rotterdam City Card app,
- Go to 'My card',
- Tap 'Transfer card',
- A QR code will appear—scan it with the other mobile phone. Make sure the app is installed on the new device beforehand,
- The transfer is complete!
The Rotterdam City Card is now ready to use on the new mobile phone.
