1. Definitions

2. Rights of the Cardholder

2.1 After activating the Card, the Cardholder is entitled to use the services offered by the Partners while the Card is valid.

2.2 The transport services offered by RET can only be used by a Cardholder who has chosen and paid for that option when buying the Card

3. Use of the Rotterdam City Card

3.1 The card is personal and non-transferable.

3.2 The card must be shown to the partner on request when used.

3.3 Rotterdam Partners is authorised to cancel the card in the event of proven misuse.

3.4 By using the service of a partner, the cardholder enters into an agreement with that partner. The cardholder thereby accepts that the conditions of the partner apply to the services they provide.

3.5 The card must be activated within six months of purchase and is then valid for the agreed period.

4. Complaints, refunds and revocation

4.1. Complaints about the quality or availability of services offered by a partner will only be considered by Rotterdam Partners after the cardholder has shown to have submitted a complaint to the partner concerned and that this complaint has not led to a solution.

4.2 If, after activating the card, the cardholder cannot use the card on one day for at least two hours due to a malfunction beyond their control, the cardholder is entitled to a refund of the purchase price of the card for the day in question.

4.3 If a cardholder wishes to claim a refund, this is subject to the refund policy posted on the Rotterdam City Card website.

4.4 The cardholder can cancel the card within 14 days of purchase by submitting the revocation form posted on the Rotterdam City Card website unless the card has already been activated within this period. The cardholder waives their right to cancel once Rotterdam Partners has fulfilled the agreement.

5. Liability of Rotterdam Partners

5.1 Rotterdam Partners is exclusively liable for the proper functioning of the card.

5.2 Rotterdam Partners is not liable for the quality or availability of the services offered by a partner, nor for damages suffered by a cardholder or a third party in connection with the use of the services of a partner.

6. Use of personal data

6.1 Rotterdam Partners makes every effort to protect personal data to the best of its ability against unauthorised access by third parties or disclosure.

6.2 Data is kept to the extent necessary for the execution of the agreement and compliance with legal obligations. See the privacy statement of Rotterdam Partners for further details.

7. Applicable law and competent court

7.1 This agreement is governed exclusively by Dutch law.

7.2 Disputes will be submitted exclusively to the District Court of Rotterdam unless the Cardholder is entitled to choose another competent court based on mandatory law.

7.3 If any provision of the conditions is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in force.
